- 1 pouch Tilda Spicy Mexican Steamed Basmati Rice
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 tsps chilli paste – we like chipotle chilli paste
- 500g lean turkey mince
- 1 small tin beans of your choice, drained i.e kidney, cannellini, black eye etc
- 1 large tin chopped tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to season
- 2tbsps water
How to make Quick & Easy Chilli Con Carne with Spicy Mexican Rice

Fry onions in a little oil until soft, add the chilli paste

Add the turkey mince and fry until browned all over

Add the beans, tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes

Add the rice to the pan and cook, covered over a low heat for a further 5 minutes

Season to taste and add a little water if needed

Serve with sour cream dip optional
